Octogeddon is the first game designed by Fan as part of its new independent studio and offers a return to a simple game style with a hidden layer of strategy and planning. Each defeated enemy provides a coin which can then be used to upgrade the octopus with new animal arms for additional abilities. Octogeddon manages to retain the silly spirit of Plants v Zombies but ultimately does not have mass or lasting appeal due to less immediate decision-making.
Octogeddon is a fun independent action game with huge boots to complete. Comparisons to the first Fan game are good, but overall, they don't reach those heights.
